About Philadelphia/Exton
Exton is located in the southeast region of Pennsylvania, an area that combines rural beauty with urban charm. The nearby city of Philadelphia, the birthplace of our country and its fifth largest city, offers historic sites such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. During the 18^th century, Philadelphia was known as the "Athens of the Americas" because of its rich culture.

The city continues as a cultural center today with a variety of museums, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, theatres, and performing arts companies. Philadelphia is also known as a sport-lovers town, and is home to the Philadelphia Eagles, Sixers, Flyers, and Phillies.

Outside of the city, the countryside features rolling hills and winding roads that lead to a variety of attractions. Historic parks such as the Brandywine Battlefield Park and Valley Forge National Historical Park recalls the days of the American Revolution. The area's parks and gardens provide pleasant areas for outdoor activities such as bird watching, boating, hiking, horseback riding, fishing and skiing.
